Cheol Eui Lee received his B.S. degree (1979) from Seoul National University and his Ph. D. (1986) from Ohio State University. He worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Pennsylvania before coming to Korea University in 1989. He is now serving as the President of the Korean Physical Society.
Research interests include nano-materials such as carbon, zinc oxide, and vanadium oxide nano-structures, nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), electron spin resonance (ESR), atomic force microscopy (AFM), photoluminescence (PL), density functional theory (DFT) calculations, impedance spectroscopy, magnetoresistance (MR), and Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR).
