Professor Of Physics Seok-Cheol hong is an experimental biological physicist interested in studying the biophysical and structural properties of DNA. He earned a B.S. (1995) in Physics from Seoul National University, and Ph.D. (2002) from the University of California - Berkeley, where he also was a postdoctoral fellow before coming to Korea University. Research Interests Single-molecule biophysics and enzymology, DNA metabolism, non-canonical DNA, chemical &enzymatic DNA modifications, magnetic/optical trapping, Fluorescence Resonance Energy Transfer (FRET), synthetic hybrid single-molecule techniques.
