Abstracts:
After the Higgs discovery in 2012 at the LHC, the properties of the Higgs particle are now well known with some precision. All measurements over the last 14 years strongly support the Standard Model. Meanwhile, the LHC has served as a precision machine. With this precision, the Standard Model seems to be complete. However, nature is still out there to be discovered. Just a couple of months ago, we finished our operation at the highest center-of-mass energy of 13.6 TeV and collected more than 300 fb-1 of data. While the data still need to be analyzed in the next couple of years, we should prepare for the completely new detector in 2030. I will present the status of the CMS experiment and why our journey should continue.
